Our indoor pantry has moved to book shelves in the entry way from the steps. Still available for public access. We look forward to using the outdoor pantry soon.

A story from our food pantry: A visitor today was a CNA who makes home visits to patients. She stopped by to pick up food for some of her clients. What a blessing this little pantry is to so many.

Because of you, Fr Edward was able to deliver these blessing bags to a family in need. And now we need items to replenish it. How about some spaghetti or Mac n’cheese?

This is long overdue, but we are looking for people to take on checking the Little Pantry on a specific day of the month. For example, Fr. Edward signed up for the 31st of each month (smart right?) so he would check on the pantry on that day (when it occurs on the calendar). We are also looking to do once a month food deliveries when there is a surplus. Looking for volunteers. Want to help? Sign up here.

The other day, Fr Edward was out in the yard and saw someone at the pantry. The person beckoned him over and continued to share that three weeks ago he needed the pantry, but now he was back to work and was happy to give back. Please come, take what you need, give when you can.

Special thanks to Penny Paye Price who noticed the supply in the pantry needed restocking. We have extra supplies in the Church entry which she graciously stocked the shelves with! Thank you!

At this time we aren’t placing canned goods in the pantry, just boxed and bagged items. The cans are available inside the church.

Any gardeners out there? Our pantry received the donation of some plants. It’s a gift that will continue giving all summer long!

To spread awareness of our , Fr Edward believed it would be good to make a page for it so those who may not wish to follow the parish but just the pantry news could do so. Please spread the word about this page as this will be where updates and calls for items will be published in the future.

In the upcoming days, Fr Edward will be asking for a person to sign up and commit to checking on the pantry for one day each month. Also, he’ll be asking to put a team of people together who would like to volunteer once in a while to deliver Blessing Bags when the pantry becomes overstocked. Look for those links in the next week.
