Get out and Vote As members of the VFW Auxiliary, we understand the importance of service, patriotism, and civic responsibility. Registering to vote and participating in elections are meaningful ways eligible citizens can take an active role in their communities and in our country. The freedoms we enjoy were defended by generations of veterans, and one way we can honor that service is by staying informed and taking part in the democratic process. Encourage eligible family members, friends, and neighbors to check their voter registration, learn about the issues and candidates, and make their own informed choices at the ballot box. Your vote is your voice, use it.
