Join us for an evening of creativity, focus, and expression as we draw from a live model! Whether you’re a beginner looking to build confidence or a seasoned artist honing your skills, this class offers a supportive space to explore the human form through line, shape, and gesture.

🗓️ Tuesday June 2nd, 7-8:15pm

We’ll begin with quick sketch warm-ups to loosen the hand and eye, then move into longer poses that allow for more depth, shading, and detail.

🖊️All classes are 18+
✏️Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot
🎨Reservations cannot be canceled because we have to pay for and book our model in advance, thank you for understanding.

✨ Recently, we had the joy of hosting the Bowdoin Health & Wellness staff team at ECC for a private end-of-year celebration filled with creativity, movement, and connection.

The group spent the afternoon block printing, taking a Body Language dance cardio class, laughing together, and sharing playful studio time — and it reminded us how deeply connected wellness and creativity really are. 💫                                        

Artmaking and movement both help us:
• access flow states
• boost feel-good hormones + neurotransmitters
• build adaptability through trying something new
• create space for joy, connection, and community

It was such a beautiful way to close out the academic year and welcome early summer.

✨This offering is provided by local acupuncturist, Jennifer Nuncio of Qi Cottage Acupuncture. Jennifer practices Classical Five-Element Acupuncture because of its potential to reach layers of depth not often found nowadays. She is a longtime student of various healing arts and remains licensed as a counselor as well.  Recently from Colorado, she is loving her time in the woods and waters of Maine, and is committed to serving community during these stressful times. 

Jennifer is a licensed clinical professional counselor and licensed acupuncturist.

Come out to the Merriman Gardens pop up seedling sale!

🗓️ This Thursday May 21st, 4-6pm

📍 in the parking lot at ECC - 82 Pleasant St, Brunswick

🌱 A couple of our members run Merriman Gardens, a local farm in Brunswick where they grow organic veggies and herbs. If you’ve ever met Sam & Aryn you know they’re good eggs! 🥚 🥚 Feeding our community is so important and they’re always supporting us so let’s show them some love.

🍅 A couple words from the farmers about why we’re doing this pop-up seedling sale:

We had grand plans to expand our production this year but have had to scale back because of an unfortunately timed injury. The silver lining here is that we now have lots of excess tomato, pepper, and eggplant seedlings ready to go into your home gardens!

Let’s find homes for the seedlings we can no longer utilize!

Come peep our selection of heirloom, plum, and cherry tomato seedlings and grab a funky pepper or eggplant while you’re at it. These are all varieties we grow on the farm so we think they’re pretty awesome. Everything is raised organically, ready to go in the ground, and being sold at a discount!

I don’t know about you, but when I listen to these words my body automatically takes a deep breath.

If you’ve ever been to Sarah P’s Wednesday evening Yin Yoga class you know the deal.

They offer a playful, supportive, gentle, thoughtful class with just the right amount of cues and questions to prompt you to pay attention to your present moment experience. 10/10 recommend for all levels of yoga experience.
