📢🚧Heads Up, Brunswick. CSX needs to close the railroad crossing at 84 Union St (behind Hannaford) for three days starting Tuesday, August 18, at 8 am. The plan is for crews to work on it, then pave Thursday, and open early Friday morning, August 21.

People Plus was honored last week to host its 19th annual classical music concert as part of the Bowdoin International Music Festival Community Concert series. Over 70 guests were treated to cellos, violins, violas and a marimba in solo and group performances as they played beautiful melodic notes of Bach and more! Guests also had the opportunity to learn about each of the 18 musicians (pictured here behind the marimba) including where they are from. Thanks Bowdoin International Music Festival!

The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, in partnership with the Federation of Farmers' Markets , provides seniors with a $50 share of local fruits and vegetables, cut herbs, and honey for no cost to eligible adults!

Seniors can sign up at the information booth at the entrance to the BTLT Saturday Farmers Market at Crystal Spring Farm (open every Saturday from 8:30-12:30 at 277 Pleasant Hill Road, Brunswick).

-60 years old or older / 55 years old or older for Native Americans / 18 years old or older with a disability and currently living in housing facilities occupied primarily by older individuals where congregate nutrition services are provided
