Wear Orange Day is tomorrow! 🧡

Join us in wearing orange to honor survivors, remember those whose lives have been impacted by gun violence, and raise awareness about the need for safer communities.

Why orange? Orange was chosen because it symbolizes the value of human life and was inspired by friends of Hadiya Pendleton, a Chicago teenager whose life was tragically cut short by gun violence. They wore orange in her memory and sparked a movement that continues today.

It's been a week and Ben, a Georgia teen from the Atlanta area, is still missing. Please spread the word.

We are asking our community to come together and support one of our own.

A valued member of our community is searching for her 16-year-old son, Benjamin Brathwaite, who is currently missing. We are sharing this to help bring awareness and extend our reach in hopes of helping the Atlanta Police Department locate him safely.

Benjamin is 6’5” 175 pounds
He was last seen on Monday, April 27, 2026, at his home in the area of Regency Trace SW, around 9:30 PM, wearing black sweatpants, black hoodie, white t-shirt, and black Nike running shoes.

We proudly celebrate Latriece Watkins, who has made history as the new President and CEO of Sam’s Club, a division of Walmart. Watkins began her journey at Walmart in 1997 as a real estate intern and steadily rose through the ranks, leading merchandising across key categories and later overseeing store operations. In 2023, she became Walmart’s Chief Merchant, managing over $500 billion in products and shaping the customer experience for millions.

Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to innovation and understanding customer needs. In addition to her professional achievements, Watkins is a proud member of the Northwest Arkansas Alumnae Chapter. Congratulations Soror Watkins!
