Hello, Friend!

We're having a mini book sale inside the Library on Saturday, April 18. The sale itself runs from 10 - 4, but of course we need to set up and tear down before and after, and that's where we need people the most.

So, if you can spare an hour or so, especially between 8:30 and 10:00 and/or between 4:00 and 5:00, we'd love the help. (The doors to the building will be locked and the lights will be off right at 5:00 pm, so we definitely need to be all done and out by then.)

Do you have a youth who needs to get volunteer hours for part of their school curriculum? We are a registered 501(c)(3) charity and we'll be happy to fill out a letter for anyone who volunteers with us.

Can you help out? Just respond to this message and let us know your availability.

Railroad Days 2025 - Call for volunteers!

Brunswick Railroad Days 2025 is only a few weeks away!

Our used book sale at Railroad Days is our major fundraiser of the year. The money we raise is used to support our Brunswick Branch Library.
We can't do it without you. Steadman-Keenan American Legion Post 96 is once again generously donating space in their parking lot. While we need people to sell books, we're especially in need of folks for set up and breakdown. (The books need to be transported 2 blocks from storage.) Do you have a pickup truck we could use to move books?
Have a student looking for service hours? We are a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and are happy to sign forms to certify service for our younger volunteers.
