What does it look like to live out our faith in the hard and hurting places of our world?

On November 8, churches around the world will recognize Pure Religion Sunday—a day rooted in James 1:27 and a call to care for orphans, widows, and those who are vulnerable. Pure Religion Sunday brings awareness to the global child welfare crisis while inviting the Church into something deeper: a faith that moves us toward others in love, service, and self-giving sacrifice.

When we step into the lives of vulnerable children and families, we don’t simply reflect the love of Jesus—we allow Him to shape us more into His likeness.

This November, we invite you to consider: How might God be calling you to take your next step in caring for vulnerable children and families?

Parenting is hard work—and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Our TBRI® Parenting Class gives caregivers practical, relationship-based tools to better understand behavior, build connection, and respond to the needs of the children in their care. Rooted in Trust-Based Relational Intervention®, this class is a space to learn, ask questions, and grow alongside other caregivers who understand the journey.

The relationships built at Royal Family Kids Camp don’t have to end when camp does.

On September 27, our Mentor Club leaders gathered at the Hope 1312 offices for training and preparation for the year ahead. Through Mentor Club, local RFKC campers have the opportunity to continue meeting with their camp counselor throughout the school year, building on the connection and trust that began at camp.

We’re so grateful for the leaders who are helping make these continued relationships possible—and for every mentor who keeps showing up, encouraging, and investing in the lives of these kids.

🚚 The Hope Closet is on the move — and we need our community!

The Hope Closet is an important part of how Hope 1312 Collective comes alongside foster, adoptive, and vulnerable families with practical support when they need it. This Friday and Saturday, we’re moving the Hope Closet to its new space, and we could use some extra helping hands!

Join us beginning at 9:00 AM either day. We especially need:
• Volunteers ready to help move and organize
• Trucks to help transport items
• Students or others needing community service hours — we can provide them!

Many hands will make a big difference as we get the Hope Closet settled and ready to continue serving families in our community.

Some of the real-time responses from this weekend’s Grow & Go Conference stopped us in our tracks.

They’re a powerful reminder of why we gather: because caring for children and families impacted by foster care is beautiful, complicated, heartbreaking, hopeful work—and none of us is meant to do it alone.

We’re so grateful for our local AFPAG and everyone who showed up ready to learn, connect, ask questions, share experiences, and grow together. Thank you to our speakers, volunteers, partners, and every person who chose to spend the day investing in vulnerable children and families in our community.

We came to Grow so we can Go—better equipped, more connected, and ready to keep showing up. 💜
