At the Friday night campfire at Summer Camp we were declared the winner of this week's Campwide Game, with more points scored than any other troop this summer. We had lots of fun wearing knight costumes all week, and taking part in all the different activities put on at camp.

One of the many traditions at Camp Manatoc Summer Camp is the Retreat Ceremony. It was our pleasure to retire the colors tonight, a reward for winning the Retreat Banner last night.

As reward for winning the Retreat Banner yesterday, we had the opportunity to raise the flags this morning at the Butler Memorial. Tonight, we will get to lower the flags as part of evening Retreat.

We won Retreat Banner this morning! We'll march with this tonight during afternoon flags retreat, and will get to raise and lower the flags on the Parade Field tomorrow.

We are on a quest at Summer Camp! Our Scouts are ready to seek out and battle the evil Gnomes as we assist Queen Julia! More quests and battles await us all week!

"You will take this field of green and gray today and turn it into a fluttering sea of red, white, and blue, as we remember those who served to defend our freedoms."

One of the best things we do all year is place flags at the National Cemetery for Memorial Day to honor those who served and gave their lives for our country.

It was our honor to be joined today by nearly 1,000 fellow Scouts, Scouters, and others to place over 50,000 flags in less than an hour.
