Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA) is an international service organization that was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. It is the oldest Greek-lettered organization established by African-American college-educated women. Currently Alpha Kappa Alpha is an international sisterhood is comprised of of 260,000 members in graduate and undergraduate chapters in the

United States, the U. Virgin Islands, the Caribbean, Canada, Japan, Germany, Korea and on the continent of Africa.

Today is Georgia Primary Runoff Election Day!

🩷 Your vote is your voice, and every election plays a role in shaping our communities, state, and future.

💚 Polls are open for eligible voters participating in runoff races across Georgia. If you voted in a party primary, you must vote in that same party’s runoff.

🩷 Be sure to bring a valid photo ID and verify your polling location before heading out.

It's June and that means ZIO has kicked off "Black Dollar Days!" Joining the over 365,000 members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, we have committed to "Wearing Pink, Spending Green and Buying Black" all month. We will continue to leverage our membership's collective buying power to funnel much-needed capital to black and minority-owned businesses.

Last Friday, our commitment to Black Dollar Days took us to Don Que's where we gathered together for lunch to Feed the Movement!

Through the power of intentional spending, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® members have invested more than $50 million in Black-owned businesses during this administration. This June, we’re building on that legacy with a goal of spending $8 million more.

Every Pink Friday, we encourage Sisters to “Wear Pink, Spend Green, and Buy Black” by spending at least $19.08 with a Black-owned business.
