Rebuild Glynn County Community Development Corporation will make a sustainable impact on preserving and revitalizing homes and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners, from the elderly, Veterans and disabled to families with children, live in safe and healthy homes. We will achieve this by providing home repairs, accessibility modifications, and health and safety upgrades to these homeowners. We mobilize a unique composition of volunteer and contract labor, discounted and donated supplies, and financial support from local businesses, governments, civic organizations, foundations, and individuals to ensure that some of our most vulnerable neighbors can live in a safe, healthy home.

A brighter tomorrow starts at home, with a home that's safe and healthy to live in.
A HOME CARE Assessment is the first step. Our team checks your house, your soil and your water, then helps you plan any fixes so you can keep living comfortably at home.

Resharing this from the Institute for Water and Health — and proud of what came out of it.

Rebuild Glynn County CDC partnered with IWH and Commissioner Allen Booker to bring residents from the district together for Safe Water Together (SWT) workshops on water quality and the water challenges facing Coastal Georgia.

What made it work: the people in the room weren't just being talked at. They were being trained as citizen scientists. Residents collecting their own data, understanding what it means, and using it to push for policy that protects their neighborhoods. That's the whole idea behind our Navigators of Change (NOC) program — community members equipped to lead on the issues that affect them most.

Clean water isn't a favor. It's a baseline. And the fastest way to get there is residents who know how to prove what's in their water.

Thank you to IWH, Commissioner Booker, and every citizen scientist who showed up.

Together, we’re rebuilding a stronger, more connected Glynn County.

Through the Safe Water Together SWAG citizen science program, these newly certified volunteers are helping communities better understand and connect with their local water resources. The data they collect provides valuable insight into the health of our waterways while also creating opportunities fo...
