Well, it wasn't how we drew it up, but the 2nd Annual MC Chamber Charities Indoor Golf Classic fundraiser was still a ton of fun, and thanks to you, a huge success.

Due to the power outage, we weren't able to hold the Golf Simulation tournament. All of our registered golfers will receive a "rain date" voucher to play indoors or outdoors, thanks to Bunker Hill Golf Course .

Best of all, we still raised a lot of money - $8,787.16 to be exact - to support our mission to provide scholarships to Medina County residents.

Thank you, Medina County! It takes more than a power outage to slow us down!

Friends of Mc Chamber Charities....the power is out at Bunker Hill Golf Course today, and so we are unable to run the Indoor Golf tournament.

BUT...we're going to make the most of it! The need for scholarship dollars is real, and the show must go on!

So, if you were registered already, please come. We're going to open the doors at 5:30. We'll have food delivered for everyone to enjoy by 6:00. Pizza, wings, salad...the works!

We'll conduct our raffles and ball drop and close up the evening by 7:15 or so.

And...we do still have a few dozen golf balls to sell for the ball drop. $5 per ball and you can win $250. If you'd like to help us out to bring this fundraiser to a successful close, we'd appreciate your donation. Just comment here that you'd like to participate.

We love Medina! Thank you all for your generosity in making out Annual MC Chamber Charities Indoor Golf Classic such an amazing event. This is our biggest fundraiser. We've awarded over $28,000 in scholarships since we began, and this is going to be another great year!

MC Chamber Charities raises funds for the sole purpose of awarding scholarships for Medina County residents. That includes HS graduating seniors. We also award scholarships to aid in the pursuit of trades certifications and adult education.

We're just a week away! Join us for the Annual MC Chamber Charities Indoor Golf Classic, Saturday, March 14 at Bunker Hill Golf Course. It's an indoor golf tournament, so let Mother Nature do her thing!

Check out this video! This is what the "Ball Drop" looked like at the Mc Chamber Charities Indoor Golf Classic last year. We're doing it again this year!

Participants "buy" balls, and the one that goes in the hole wins the grand prize.

We think sometimes Trades education gets overlooked. People think a lot about college, and that's fine. But there are lots of ways to reach your dreams.

MC Chamber Charities has scholarship options available for Trade certifications and training. It's the right thing to do.
