Did you know that drowning rates disproportionately impact Black and Brown communities, and many children never have the opportunity to learn basic water safety skills? Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is committed to changing that through Swim 1922—our national initiative dedicated to promoting water safety education and increasing access to swim instruction.

We’re inviting families to sign up their children for this impactful program designed to build confidence in and around the water while teaching lifesaving swim and safety skills.

Today the Sorors of Eta Upsilon Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated presented another scholarship to a deserving Senior from Glynn Academy. We were honored to give Amiyha McIntosh a $500 scholarship to help her further her academic studies in the fall. Congratulations to Amiyha and the 2026 graduating class of Glynn Academy.
