On Saturday, The Rhoers of the Eta Upsilon Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. participated in a Sisterhood Under the Sun event at The Strike Zone Bowling Alley. The Rhoers were able to bowl, eat, and fellowship with each other and chapter Sorors. Looks like everyone had a great time!

💙💛Eta Upsilon Sigma Sorors Welcomes Olympic Champion Soror Elana Meyers-Taylor to the Golden Isles!💛💙

On Thursday, August 27th, the Eta Upsilon Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. had the honor of welcoming Soror Elana Meyers-Taylor to the Golden Isles as the keynote speaker for Go the Distance: Be the Difference Dinner & Silent Auction, sponsored by FaithWorks. This inspiring event celebrates the hard work, dedication, and commitment of those serving individuals and families experiencing poverty and hardship throughout Glynn County.

A six-time Winter Olympic medalist in bobsledding, Soror Meyers-Taylor made history at the 2026 Winter Olympics, winning her first Olympic gold medal at age 41. Following three silver and two bronze medals across her previous four Olympic Games, her victory added another remarkable chapter to an already extraordinary career. She is also a four-time World Champion, earning two gold medals in two-woman bobsled and two in mixed-team competition.
