The Brunswick Elks Lodge 691 held its annual Hoop Shoot on Wednesday Jan 14th 2026, at Ballard Park with the support of the Glynn County Recreation Department. The first place winners for each age group and gender will advance to the Elks District in the coming weeks, with hopes to advancing to the National competition in Chicago. There were no participants in the boys group 12-13 years of age. There were no participants in the girls age groups 10-11 and 12-13. Pictured with top three of each age and gender group is Elks organizer Kevin Weese (referee shirt).
