What an AMAZING day!! 🎉🌈💚 We had such a great time at Brunswick Pride, connecting with community members, sharing stories (and incredibly specific nature fun facts, IYKYK 😅), and spending the day surrounded by so much joy and energy. Not to mention the gorgeous weather - what a beautiful day to be outdoors together!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello, and to the event organizers for creating such a welcoming, vibrant space. We’re so grateful to be part of this community!! 🏳️‍🌈

National Get Outdoors Day is coming up this weekend!!! 🎉🌊🌲 As you’re making plans to get outside, places like the Magalloway are a great reminder of why it matters to conserve the landscapes we love exploring. From paddling quiet rivers to hiking forest trails, this region offers space to reconnect—with nature and with each other.

Thanks to the generosity of nearly 400 supporters, we’re 97% of the way to closing the gap and conserving these lands forever. With $2.3 million left to raise by July 31, we can’t do it without you.

Supporting the Magalloway Collaborative helps ensure these lands stay conserved and publicly accessible. If the project is successful, these forests, rivers, and recreation opportunities will remain open and accessible for generations to come.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of something bigger. If this work inspires you, consider making a gift and sharing the story.

This World Ocean Day, we’re taking a moment to look beyond Maine—and remember how connected our oceans really are 💙🌎🌊 TNC's new film, "Ocean Keepers" (narrated by the incredible Meryl Streep!), tells the story of conservationists in Belize working to save a manatee and restore ocean health.

From the Gulf of Maine to the Caribbean and all around the world, thriving oceans support the future of our planet. 💙

Watch the film at the link in the comments! 🎬

Happy , everyone! ❄️🌍 You can celebrate by checking out one of Maine’s coolest natural wonders—literally. 🌡 The Ice Caves of the Debsconeag Lakes Wilderness Area are nature’s version of a walk-in freezer: tucked beneath a jumble of glacial boulders, these caves can hold ice well into August! While the rest of us are sweating through summer, these caves are chillin’ like it’s January. 😎❄

🧗‍♀️ Getting there is half the adventure... a moderate hike through ancient forests leads you to a rocky descent (rebar ladders included!) into a frosty underground world. It’s the perfect place to cool off and reflect on the incredible ecosystems caves support. And caves like these aren’t just cool—they’re vital habitats, geological time capsules, and natural water filters. That’s why we’re proud to protect them.

This Cave Day, we invite you to:
🔹 Explore responsibly
🔹 Share your cave pics with
🔹 And remember: it’s gneiss to protect nature! 😉

Please join us in welcoming Noa Nasoff to the team as the 2026 Bowdoin Fellow!! 🎉🎊 Noa is a rising junior at Bowdoin College, majoring in Environmental Studies and Government and Legal Studies. Growing up in New Orleans, Louisiana, Noa fostered a deep love for the outdoors, canoeing on the Bayou with her mom. Her passion for environmental policy grew over time, as she learned how climate change’s effects, such as sea level rise, severe hurricanes, and extreme heat, threatened her community. In high school, her experience volunteering at a local compost company encouraged her to be engaged in environmentalism on campus. At Bowdoin, Noa works in the Sustainability Office to encourage values of environmental stewardship and activism among her peers.

We are thrilled to have Noa on board! 😍✨
