Brunswick Area Teen Center Free for any 6-12th grade student. Agency workers with clients welcome.

We are a drop-in center offering a meal cooked on site each day as well as a variety of structured and unstructured activities for youth. Free after-school and summer program serving youth in 6th-12th grades.We have free snacks and light meal each day, video game systems (x box one, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch,Wi etc) pool table, free wi-fi, Netflix, board games, craft supplies, we can help wi

th homework, and more.... outside basketball in spring/summer and downstairs dodgeball. A supervised and safely staffed place for teens to socialize in a positive environment that is anti bullying and encourages inclusiveness - everyone is welcome!

Our Cherokee Purple tomatoes LOVE this garden! Our reliance grapes are getting bigger and bigger, producing fruit this year, and our Highbush Blueberries have a few fruits this year as well! While our watermelon is still growing, we received the donation of a huge watermelon and will have a seed spitting competition today! It's Watermelon Day!

We're hiring a full time AmeriCorps VISTA position! If you enjoy working with youth and want to be part of a community wide team improving the lives of youth then this is the role for you!

Bi-weekly stipend paid through AmeriCorps with benefits including a housing stipend of $500 per month, paid time off, sick leave, student loan forbearance, flexible schedule, an education award of $7,395 and more!

This week we took everyone on a stroll over to the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum! Such a great place to have right near the teen center and we'll certainly be back.

Our garden is growing and so is our Bicycle Program! If a teen (member) rides their bike, or walks to the Teen Center twice in the same week, they will be entered into a drawing for a gift card at the end of the week! Riding or walking 4 times in the same week gets two entries...what a deal! Helmets are required for bicycle riders, but we have been given some new helmets by Parks 'N Recreation of Brunswick to share with our teens in need. THANK YOU BRUNSWICK PARKS AND RECREATION!!! Teens who cannot ride or walk because they live too far away, or in a dangerous place to ride, may document bike rides or walks of at least two miles to be entered independently.
