Join us for a special Juneteenth Documentary Screening and Discussion hosted by Dr. Kyle Fox.

We are also honored to welcome Titania Cook Owens from Juneteenth-GA, who will share remarks on the importance of Juneteenth, the legacy of freedom, and why preserving this history remains vital today.

Together, we'll explore the history, significance, and continued impact of Juneteenth while honoring those who paved the way toward freedom and equality.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Bring your family, friends, and community members as we celebrate, learn, and reflect on the importance of Juneteenth.

Georgia is ranked 39th in the nation in child and family well-being in the 2026 KIDS COUNT Data Book, released today by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Georgia has not been among the bottom 10 states since 2017—but recent progress has stalled.
