We’ve had a month of being uprooted from our regular schedules, tasks, and activities. Read our new blog post to see about multiple projects we’ve had going on and how we are trying to get through, while still in the midst of it all, and some blessings we’ve experienced along the way.

Our newest blog post shares about our Vacation Bible School, ongoing building projects, and medical assistance given!

It’s true that we still receive some rain showers in April, but our rainy season has just about come to an end. We have had an excellent rainy season, which means dry boreholes (wells) have...

We are exhausted and it’s been a long day but what a wonderful day celebrating Jesus being alive! A blog post will give the full update of today’s Kids Program but this super short video from half of the kids give a snap shot of the day.

Today we set up the church for our Kids’ Program tomorrow. The ladies worked hard all day, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning toilets, carrying buckets of water, counting and setting up 240 chairs, unfolding and setting up tables, prepping food, practicing lessons and going through tomorrow’s schedule.

So we treated everyone to Chicken Inn (a local fast food place). Andrew joked and said he cooked today 😂 They all laughed and said he should do the cooking from now on.

The day ended with Andrew driving everyone home in the van, but not before making a stop at the hospital to visit one of the ladies who was rushed in last night. All the ladies went in and prayed over their sister in Christ.

We love the heart of these women. Seeing the Spirit in their lives is a beautiful thing.

How are you spending your Monday night? This is how we’ve been spending ours 👇Getting ready for our Kids Program on Wednesday. Craft supplies gathered, Bible lessons printed, handouts and coloring papers packed, fruit all laid out ready to package. We’ve spent our day sharpening pencil colors, typing up registration names, overseeing the ministry building, cooking for all the workers and making multiple errands.

Tomorrow we go set up in anticipation for the kids. Please be in prayer for every precious child who will be attending.

Even more progress on the ministry building 🙌 The plumbing has finally been installed properly and everything has been plastered over (that’s what it’s called but it’s cement not plaster). The shower floor has been filled with a slight slant all around the drainage.

The boards for all the cabinetry for storage (one of the main reasons we’ve built the building) has finally arrived from Harare (the capital).

On Monday tiling for the bathroom will finally commence.

We are seeing a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel as far as the ministry building is concerned. Progress is being made. The mini kitchenette area has been tiled and pipes laid, the bathroom has a wall for the shower and copper pipes installed along the perimeter for hot and cold water. Seeing this progress makes us sooo happy.

This is all happening amidst the frantic planning of our one day kids event for Easter next week (yes our focus is Easter even after the fact).

This year’s theme, “Jesus is Alive!”

Prayers appreciated for all things involved.

Wishing each and every one of you a blessed Easter! Luke 24:6, “He is not here; he has risen!”

We have a new blog post up, with some news from last month about our Discipleship Groups, a story of medical aid, and some very sad news and insight into depravity within the culture.

Is it just us or does it feel like time is moving faster? Or are we just showing our age now? It seemed like we had just started a new year and before we realized it, February had come and gone and...
