A huge thank you to the Brown County Humane Society for having us out this weekend to train some dogs on snake avoidance! I’m delighted to say that 25% of all proceeds were donated to the shelter, making this an awesome experience not just for the pet owners, but pets in need.

Here’s a few participants around a few different snakes featured in the training session. Thank you to everyone who attended and again to the shelter for having us out.

One of my favorite cuties from the avoidance training this weekend! She wanted nothing to do with these snakes after some training. The e-collar was not used during this video as when she saw this harmless bullsnake she chose to stay away! 😎

I love doing this because we get to protect both dogs and snakes and educate people.

Here’s a super emaciated western diamondback rattlesnake. We’re going to hydrate and feed a small meal and see if that perks him up a little bit. He’s in really rough shape, but these are also pretty tough animals. He still has a fighting spirit so will do everything we can to help him.
