🎃👻We are taking reservations for Trunk or Treat 2026! Decorate your campsite and pass out candy in exchange for a free campsite on October 24! Great job Troop!!

A huge shoutout to Trail Life Troop Tx-9001 for coming out this past Saturday to help rangers Steven and Tyler clean up the beaches on our new property. We made quick work picking up washed-ashore garbage of all types and sizes, including a giant, heavy, litter boulder! (Definitely not styrofoam 😉)

Also, a shoutout to Friends of Lake Brownwood State Park for bringing our volunteers breakfast and helping out with the clean up as well! It's thanks to all of these kind folks that our shoreline is now a lot safer for our wildlife, and a whole lot prettier too.

Hi everyone! We have been a little scarce on volunteers lately. We have not had any updates. We are still around; we are just needing some help because lately there has only been a few of our volunteers that have been able to work!! If you feel led, we are more than happy to welcome you into our group. We need dedicated, conservation, community-oriented volunteers! We are working on a large project and need as many hands-on deck that we can get! The more volunteers we have, the more activities and improvements we will be able to have at our beautiful Texas State Park. Please feel free to message us!

We need park hosts!!!

Lake Brownwood State Park is looking for park hosts!

Have you ever wished you could live at Lake Brownwood State Park? This might be your chance! Park hosts live on-site in their RV and help our rangers make the park a positive and welcoming environment for our guests!

Duties include:
🙂Visitor orientation in camping loops
🛠Facility maintenance and repairs
💬Customer service at the park headquarters
