Brownwood Amateur Radio Club

Brownwood Amateur Radio Club BARC frequencies: 146.940- and 444.700+, 94.8 tones. Official website is http://www.k5bwd.org. All are invited to attend.

We meet monthly on the third Monday of each month at 7PM (19ØØhrs). We also hold test sessions on the second Saturday of each month at 1ØAM (1ØØØhrs). If you desire to get your license you can acquire study materiel from many electronics stores easily found on the internet. A good loc

Testing is progressive; with each level more frequencies are available to you for transmission. You can listen in at any time on any of the 'ham' frequencies.
