This year the Kiwanis Club of Brownwood will be hosting — via sponsor Draco’s Janitorial & Auto Detailing — a raffle for a full year's worth of gas! The raffle is open to all with ticket prices costing: $10 each, 6 for $50, and 13 for $100. Make sure to enter now as the raffle will end when all tickets are sold or on November 3rd.

We awarded prizes to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in all 4 age brackets!

Jerry and Jan Sims added a cash prize to each winner also!

Brownwood Bass Club added a Sonic gift card to 1st prize winners as well as 11th place since it was our 11th Annual event!

We had an amazing time today at our 11th Annual Kid Fish Event!! We had 226 kids check in and fish with us plus the parents an grandparents that accompanied them! It was amazing to see so many people out enjoying the lake, getting fresh air amd sunshine! That is the goal of our event! Start a life time of fishing, putting the screens down and enjoying the great outdoors.

We could not host this event with out an amazing collaboration of organizations! We would loke to say thank you to thebfollowing groups:

The Baker Street Lawn is going live this summer! ☀️🎶

The City of Brownwood will host Live on the Lawn, a new free summer concert series at the Brownwood Event Center featuring live music, food and drink vendors, and summer evenings outdoors.

Save the dates! The series will take place on the third Sunday of each summer month: June 21, July 19, and August 16. Stay tuned as we get ready to announce the artist lineup.

The first event kicks off on Father’s Day, making it a great way to celebrate dads with live music and a relaxed evening on the lawn.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and make plans to spend your summer Sundays with us at the Brownwood Event Center!

Yesterday, the Kiwanis Club of Brownwood hosted its monthly meeting and was honored to have Kenneth Witt and Micah Jaynes as its guest speakers. Micah Jaynes came on behalf of the Fairway Club, and Kenneth Witt discussed his plans as the new owner of KXYL. We are very excited to see how these men will continue to impact and improve our community.
