With each other’s help, and faithful support of our family, friends and supporters that believe in service to one another, we use BBQ Pits and Kind Hearts to help others as humbly as possible. We want to help however we can. We are here to serve you as well as one another. Each of our group members actively has a heart of service that we try to share with the community with no strings attached and
with no need to be recognized. We just hope our small actions can only help others feel better and receive Joy. Whether it be through assisting with BBQ fundraisers, raffles, manual work or other means of charitable actions, we each try our best to accomplish that goal. The actions of our group members are not a great as other wonderful gracious people and organizations, but we hope that the little we have ever done and hope to accomplish will inspire prosperity, love joy in kids, community events, churches, cancer patients, and others. Many of times this last year we helped other groups, churches, patients, kids, and other organizations under the radar such as: Kermeses and Retreats (@ Christ the King, Good Sheppard, Immaculate Catholic Churches), Cancer Patients (BBQ Fundraisers, Raffles, Donations), Youth and Community Programs (Music, Arts Exhibits, Building Maintenance, Etc.), and so forth. We don’t not share this with you to exult our actions, but rather to explain what our purpose is and how we want to continue helping others. We do all this for no pay and little funding. Most of our funds come from our biggest yearly fundraiser at Sombrero Festival, where we sell Turkey Legs. We try to spread our funds out as much as possible and most of our members also put in a lot of time and money out of their pocket to continue our cause. We may not be a rich group, but the fruits of our honest labor to help others bring a smile to others or to bring joy to them, makes us rich in blessings. We have the faith that by spreading the kindness through our actions will bring more goodness.
