Today, members of Brownsville Ambulance Service were proud to participate in a fire safety program at California Area Elementary and Charter School. Students had the opportunity to learn important fire and emergency safety tips, explore emergency equipment, and meet firefighters and EMS professionals who serve their community every day.

Thank you to the firefighters, teachers staff, and students for making the event such a success. Programs like these help build safety awareness, confidence, and positive community connections for our future generations.

Shout out to junior firefighter and CASD student Dylan Haschets.

Dylan participated in Brownsville Ambulance Services cadet program and is involved with Roscoe VFD.

Today he took time to talk with elementary students and inspire the next generation! Your dedication, leadership, and willingness to share your experiences make a lasting impact on these young students. Yesterday was a true testament to the dedication, training, and teamwork of our crews. Within approximately 2 hours, our ambulance crews responded to and successfully achieved ROSC (Return of Spontaneous Circulation) on TWO cardiac arrest patients.

These calls are never easy, and positive outcomes like this take a coordinated effort from dispatchers, first responders, law enforcement, hospital staff, and highly trained EMS providers working together under pressure.

We are incredibly proud of our crews for their professionalism, calmness, and commitment to serving our community when seconds matter most. Please keep these patients, their families, and all responders involved in your thoughts.

Happy EMS Week!!!!

I would like to take a moment to thank the employees and management of Brownsville Ambulance Service for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to this community.

Emergency Medical Services is not just a job—it is a calling. It means answering calls all hours of the day and night, working weekends and holidays, and always being ready to respond when someone is having one of the worst days of their life.

To my management team, thank you for your leadership, vision, and the countless hours spent behind the scenes to ensure our service continues to operate effectively and provide the highest level of care.

To my EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, and dispatchers, thank you for your professionalism, compassion, and teamwork. Each of you plays an essential role in making this organization successful.

Together, you have built more than an EMS service—you have built a trusted resource that this community depends on every single day.

Your dedication saves lives, provides comfort, and makes a difference in ways that words can never fully express.
