Classic upward bound 5k was a success thank you everyone who attended and ran. The exercise science won 1st place and a 500 dollar prize for most registration under our group. So a BIG THANK YOU!!!! to everyone who helped us with this we couldn't do it with out you guys

Cardboard play was super fun thanks to our club members who participated all the children were having a blast.

Hello Exercise Science Club
Here are some important dates and information you should know:

1. Car Wash: April 18th. To help fund our end of the year trip we
will be hosting a car wash at Advance Auto Parts from 10am- 2pm.
Address: 1800 E Alton Gloor Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526.

2. Cardboard Play: April 18th. The exercise science club was invited to
attend the Cardboard play event from 9am-1pm. Since both events
take place at the same time, we are asking for only 5-6 members to
attend this event. So if you would like to play with kids rather than wash
cars please RSVP immediately.

3. UpWard Bound 5k: April 25th. As most of you already know the upward
bound program will be hosting a 5k/1mile run, where the team with the
most members wins a $500 cash price. For teams larger than 15 the
registration fee will be reduced to only $8. We are asking all members to
participate to invite as many people as you can and register them under
Team: Exercise Science Club. If you will be participating please bring in your
$8 or any other money you have collected by Friday.

4. Chicken Plates: April 30th. We will be passing out the chicken plates at
Lopez supermarket April 30th and it will be our last fund raiser of the semester.
Deadline to turn in chicken plate money is April 24th. There is still plenty of time
so please keep pushing them.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: if anyone is interested in registering for the 3rd annual classic upward bound 5k walk/run/ crawl . Please contact. Adri Flores, Cat lira, Cris Polanco, or Billy Perez. They will have the registration forms for you to fill out or comment below if interested and we will contact you ....we would want as many people to be involved in this. So please register with the exercise science club!!!! 😊😊😊😊
