🎉Announcing The Quarry Amphitheater!🎉

Calling on our community! Please read below:

Something exciting is beginning to take shape in Edmonson County, as work has started on the future The Quarry Amphitheater — a unique outdoor venue that will bring live music, festivals, and community gatherings to our area in a clean, family‑friendly, all‑ages setting. 🎶🎤🎸🪕

The Lions Club is currently in the very early stages of this project, with the current goal of beginning to clear and shape the area so the true potential of what this incredible natural quarry space can become shines through.

This is where the community comes in!

We are looking for local volunteers, equipment, and helping hands to assist with the early stages of work. If you have access to equipment, experience operating machinery, or you’re willing to lend some good old‑fashioned manual labor, your help could make a huge difference as we begin preparing the site. 👋🏻🚜🛻

This project has the potential to become something special for Edmonson County — a place where families gather, music fills the air, and our community grows stronger together.

This is just the beginning. With the help of this community, The Quarry Amphitheater will become something truly amazing.

Last week we held our annual Edmonson County Fair Sponsor Appreciation Dinner to give a heartfelt thank you to the generous sponsors that made the 2025 county fair a rousing success! 🎉👏🏼🎡

This event took place in the spacious, brand-new Lions Club building that will graciously serve the community for events and meetings.

We are so thankful for our energetic community, our loyal Lions Club members, and our amazing sponsors! Lets make the 2026 county fair 🔥

Thank you for a fantastically festive and merrily musical parade! From a real dalmatian on a fire truck to igloos, twinkle lights, and grinches and ending with Leo the Lion and Santa, we loved seeing you at the parade!

Join us for the annual Edmonson County Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 29th, at 5:00 PM in downtown Brownsville . Line up along Main Street and watch as the shiny, sparkly, blinky, and festive floats and entries cruise by!

This year's theme is A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS 🎅🎼🎺🎻🎄

Parade Details:
🎀Sunday, November 30th
🎀5:00 - 6:00 PM CST
🎀Location: Main Street Downtown Brownsville

Lineup & Santa:
🎁NO fee for entering the parade; just come lineup!
🎁Lineup starts at the Edmonson County High School at 3:00 PM
🚫🎅The ONLY Santa allowed in the parade will be on the Lion's Club float🎅🚫
