Moody Clinic Moody Clinic is the only nonprofit outpatient clinic in the Lower Rio Grande Valley for children with special needs.

Moody Clinic's goal is to provide affordable access to speech/language, physical and occupational rehabilitative therapy to children with diagnosed developmental delays, disabilities and/or acquired injuries.

🎂❤️ A Sweet Gift That Keeps Giving! 🎉

A huge thank-you to Pasteles Jaque Mate and Kid to Kid for helping make A Taste of Generosity #2 such a sweet success! 🛍️🍰

What started as a simple idea to bring sweet treats and generosity together has already made a $850 impact in support of Moody Clinic! 🩵✨ Thanks to the generosity of our community and the continued commitment of these amazing local businesses, we’re making a meaningful difference for children with special needs and supporting The Charles’ Legacy Scholarship Fund. 💛

And the sweetness doesn’t stop here! 🧁🎉 Thanks to the success of this pop-up fundraiser, we’re excited to announce our next A Taste of Generosity event on Saturday, November 14, at Kid to Kid Brownsville! 🛍️🍰

We can’t wait to come together again for another day of shopping, delicious mini cakes, and giving back. Every treat purchased helps support a sweeter future for the children and families served by Moody Clinic. 💙

Monica Asti (Texas A&M University BS, UTRGV - The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley MBA, Villanova University 6 Sigma), has served on the Moody Clinic board of directors since March 2024. Help carry this mission forward with a gift today. Your generosity can help give children with special needs the therapy, support, and opportunities they need to build brighter futures.

A public servant at heart, Monica worked for the City of Brownsville in various roles for 8+ years prior to landing her current opportunity at Bechtel Corporation nearly 4 years ago. Always seeking to support those in most need, her career also includes a board position with United Way of Southern Cameron County.

Nothing brings her more joy than seeing our patients improve after receiving therapy services at Moody Clinic, although her husband and their rescue dog Coco come in close second.

Remembering a Beloved Supporter of Moody Clinic: Karen Ray 🤍🕊️

It is with heavy hearts that the Moody Clinic family mourns the passing of Karen Ray, a long-term supporter of our mission and a beloved member of our extended Moody family. As the mother of our CEO, Jessica Cuevas, Karen held a special place in the heart of our organization—and over the years, she touched so many of us with her kindness, warmth, and genuine love for others.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Karen remember her as a loving, giving, and kind-hearted woman who had a special gift for making others feel cared for and valued. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched, including the children and families of Moody Clinic. We extend our deepest love, prayers, and condolences to her entire family. Rest peacefully, Mrs. Karen. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 🤍🕊️
