The South Texas Afghanistan Iraq Veterans Association (STAIAVA) is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts and their families. We provide essential services that address immediate needs, including food, financial assistance, and medical support, while also connecting veterans to long-term resources for physical and mental health, disability management, and community integration.

Our programs, such as the Medical Voucher Program, food pantry, and general assistance initiatives, are designed to reduce hardship and improve quality of life for veterans and their families. We work closely with local physicians, first responders, and community partners to provide coordinated, high-quality care and advocacy.

STAIAVA is committed to fostering a strong sense of community among veterans, raising awareness of their challenges, and creating opportunities for support, connection, and empowerment. By addressing urgent needs and promoting long-term stability, we strive to honor the service of veterans through practical, meaningful action.
