ππ Dress for Success: A Morning of Smiles, Confidence & New Beginnings
Today, our Rotary Club of Historic Brownsville had the opportunity to spend a very special morning with 30 students and their families a morning filled with smiles, excitement, and new memories created together in our community.
Through our Dress for Success service project, 30 students from Brownsville ISD and Los Fresnos CISD prepared for their first day of school with a unique shopping experience.
What made the morning even more special was that each student had a personal shopper by their side. Together, they selected what they needed for school not simply receiving clothing, but enjoying the experience of choosing items that will help them walk into their classrooms feeling prepared and confident.
For our Rotarians, moments like these remind us why we serve. Spending our morning alongside these students and their families, helping them prepare for that important first day, was a reminder that service is also about creating connections, building confidence, and letting our young people know that their community believes in them.
Because sometimes, a new school year is more than a new beginningβit is a new opportunity to learn, grow, dream, and succeed. πβ¨
