Hello everyone!
CReative Assistance For Texas (CR.A.F.T.) is excited to announce our second annual Fun-tastic Field Day on Saturday, August 12 at Tony Gonzalez Park. The event will be held at 7:30 am to 10:30 am. We will have fun and exciting games, such as bowling, ring toss, field fishing, and more! We will also have snacks and drinks, however we encourage parents to be present at all times with their children, and bring their own water as well to stay hydrated. The big day is here. The 4th annual Rocktoberfest is tonight and there is a great line up for the Battle of the Bands. Come and enjoy some great food, drinks, music and games. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we hope that you join us at The Broken Sprocket. Thank you to the team at the Broken Sprocket for hosting us every year and for your partnership in making this community event possible.

📢 One more week for the 4th annual Rocktoberfest at The Broken Sprocket. There will be performances from students, local artists, a Battle of the Bands with cash prizes, and the headlining band Los Gatos Locos. Great food, drinks, games, and music all night starting at 6. This is a big fundraiser for the organization and part of the proceeds will go to an organization that focuses on mental health awareness. We hope to see you all there!!

Today's the big day! The finals for Brownsville's Got Talent are here!! Here are a few important reminders for tonight:

1. The three finalists will each be performing a live set.

2. After the contest and while votes are being counted, there will be an open mic for a chance to win a $25 bar tab at The Broken Sprocket. Open mic is free to enter and votes will be decided by the audience at no cost.

3. Singer/songwriter Israel Segovia, will be closing out the night with a live set!

Finally, some info on voting:
The placement will be decided by the audience. The audience will be able to buy tickets to cast votes in person at The Broken Sprocket - minimum of 5 votes for $5. The event will be live streamed and viewers will also be able to buy votes online - 5 votes for $6 ($1.20/ticket). You can buy as many votes as you'd like to support your favorite artist. For online voting, simply pay through cash app, Venmo, or PayPal, and add the participant's name you're voting for in the memo. We will add the QR codes on tonight's live stream.
