🎄 - The Sound of Music | December 9 to December 11, from 8 PM to 10 PM. | It is based on the 1949 memoir of Maria von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers. The Camille Playhouse is assisting The Brownsville Fire Department with their Annual Toy Drive. All this coming week you may drop off new, unwrapped toys at 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝟵 𝗔𝗠 -𝟰 𝗣𝗠. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆-𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟬-𝟮 𝗣𝗠.
Look for the big, red Fire Truck and Santa Claus himself. Stay in your cars, drive by, Firefighters and Camile board members on hand to collect donated toys. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱.

THIS WEEK! It's happening--do not Grinch out!

Join us at Washington Park Tree Lighting Ceremony 2022 for a festive night of holiday cheer, live performances, canned food drive, a merry vendors market and the Movie In The Park Presentation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), starring everyone's fave Grinch--Jim Carrey!

🙌Join us as we light up the park (countdown begins at 6:30 p.m.) and brighten up the season!

🔔Event is happening Thursday, December 1st from 6 to 10 p.m. at Washington Park (700 E. Madison St.). Do not miss it!

There are a few assumptions about Texas Latinos - one of them is that we hardly turnout to vote.
They’ve said politicians take our vote for granted because we “don’t care to vote”. For decades, they’ve called us the “sleeping giants” of American politics, claiming we could shift an entire election ”if we just woke up” and made it to the polls!
Well, that’s exactly what we are doing! VOTE VOTE VOTE
