The Hideout has already started getting birthday presents!

We’ve opened several packages from our Birthday Wish List this week, and every little gift note inside has made us smile.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already sent something our way. We truly appreciate it.

We love being able to provide a space where families can come play, connect and make memories together. With free Open Play also comes a lot of very well-loved toys. Things get played with hard, pieces disappear and favorites eventually need to be replaced.

Our Birthday Wish List is simply one way our Hideout family can help us keep the space stocked with fun, engaging things for the kids who walk through our doors each week.

There is absolutely no expectation to send anything, but for those who have asked how they can help celebrate our first birthday, we’re sharing the list again.

ONE WEEK TO GO!

The Hideout Turns One is this Friday, October 23 from 5:00–8:00 PM, and we’re getting so excited to celebrate with you.

We’re planning an evening full of the things we love most about The Hideout — play, families and community — plus some extra birthday fun!

We’ll have free Open Play, local food and drink vendors, craft + sensory fun, our Digital Photo Booth, Birthday Silent Auction and, of course, our big birthday balloon drop.

Admission is completely free.

If you’re planning to join us, we would love for you to pre-register. It helps us get the best possible idea of how many families to prepare for inside and outside throughout the evening.

If The Hideout had a birthday list… this would be it.

As we celebrate our first birthday, we’ve been reflecting a lot on just how much this community has poured into The Hideout over the past year. From families who come play each week to those who have celebrated birthdays, taken classes, shared our posts or simply told a friend about us, we are so grateful.

A few people have asked if there’s a way to help celebrate, so we put together a small Amazon Birthday Wish List with items we can use right here at The Hideout.

Only TWO spots left for tomorrow’s Little Notes with Nana!

We’re kicking off our BOO-tiful October series with Pumpkin Patch Boogie tomorrow night! Come early for Open Play from 5:00–5:30 PM, then join Nana for music, movement and plenty of pumpkin-themed fun from 5:30–6:00 PM.

Can’t make it tomorrow? You can still join us for Witches, Brews & Monster Mash on October 15 or our Halloween Spooktacular on October 29!

Join us at Texas Roadhouse in Avon today from 3:00–10:00 PM for our Birthday Month Dine to Donate supporting The Hideout Foundation.

Just show the fundraiser flyer when you order — a digital copy on your phone works perfectly — and Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of participating food purchases back to The Hideout.

Dine-in and to-go orders both count, so grab dinner, bring some friends and show your support!

Another Monday morning with Pariah Coffee!

Start your week with coffee for you and plenty of playtime for the kids! Pariah Coffee is back at The Hideout TODAY from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Grab a friend, grab your favorite drink and come hang out with us this morning. Open Play continues until 1:00 PM!

So many new things are on board the trailer today! We have Decaf, we have almond milk, we have sugar free redbulls and syrups, and we are launching our Rishi Tea menu today!
