As we wind down another season (13 years to be exact) of providing nutritious snacks/meals to over a 100+ BISD students at various campuses, once a week throughout the school year, it's still amazing and humbling how generous this community is - to not only provide monetarily so we can buy what we need but also come along side us to pack and support these grand endeavors.

Thank you, community members, volunteers, businesses, and churches for your generosity. Thank you for being the hands and feet of love, of Christ, of goodwill - to show children and families in our community that they are cared for no matter their circumstances.

A huge thank you to CES' Bear Necessities fund raiser! What an awesome gift.

But we could use your help to give us one last push for the end of year packing. We need donations of Ramen noodles (chicken or beef). Donations can be dropped off at Faith Baptist in Brownsboro or Rock Hill Baptist Church. TIA

We were blown away again by the turn out of community volunteers! What a blessing! We packed over 700 bags and cleaned up in 30 minutes!! This crew knocked it out of the park! Thank you! Thank you!

Volunteers Needed for Thurs, Feb. 5th.

We'll be loading (@ 9am) and unloading (around 9:45-10 am) over 4000 lbs of food (3300 lbs for Bear Necessities food packing on Feb 12th and the rest is food pantry). I could use a few people to meet us at the East Texas Food Bank to help load, but all hands on deck for unloading at RHOC building.

Volunteers Needed:
The next packing date is scheduled for Feb 12th from 6-8 pm. It never takes that long, usually 1 1/2 hours of your time with enough volunteers.

If you, your group, or family would like to sign up, please let me know. We usually need about 15-20 people for it to run smoothly.

We had a great night packing all the wonderful food donations we had received from the school and community. We were able to pack almost 500 bags! A huge thank you to Faith Baptist Brownsboro Youth ministry (After Shock) and the East Henderson County Rotary Club members for your assistance!!
