~Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our new Growing Health Program Manager, LoLo Arcand!~

LoLo brings incredible passion, local roots, and valuable experience in sustainable food systems to our community. Here is what she has to share about her journey and vision:

“How do you connect to the land you are from? Oki Niistoo Anakok LoLo Arcand, born in Browning MT. My mother is Misty Arcand and my grandparents are Karen and Edward “Punny” Arcand. I have 1 beautiful daughter. My life’s journey led me to indigenous food systems through my lifestyle. I worked with O.K. Farms in Hilo, Hawaii for almost 4 years and with them I learned how powerful a sustainable food system is in building up a community. I’ve gained everlasting relationships and seeing life being created over a good conversation about food while eating the food we prepare from our land is true freedom and I want to share the knowledge food has done for me. As the new Growing Health Program Manager for FAST Blackfeet. I am looking forward to sharing and growing with all of you.”
