The Brent Henley Youth Leadership program students are at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Hospital for heathcare day. They are learning all about the medical field! The students performed a “scittlectomy” by removing skittles and gummy bears from a “patient”!

Students in the Brent Henley Youth Leadership program had a chance to learn about local economic development and the workforce from the LEDA Team on Monday. Thank you to our sponsors and donors for helping invest in these students.

The Brent Henley Youth Leadership Program had its Environment Day yesterday. They heard a presentation from John Brown, General Manager of Republic Services.
BHYL students participated in a Q&A to learn more about how important they are to saving the environment and atmosphere.

The BHYL students, Parish Proud, Broussard Chamber of Commerce , and Republic Servicess had a chance to visit a landfill and understand waste management firsthand.

The Brent Henley Youth Leadership Program is at the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office for our First Responders day. Thank you Capt. John Mowell for welcoming us and being a great host for todays session. We got to hear from Chief Vance Olivier and Asst. Chief Tony Ashy of Broussard Police Department about its mission, responsibility and jurisdiction.
