Thursday was another meaningful day of kindness and service at Camp Kind!

Some of our campers visited Hearts & Horses, where they learned about the incredible equine-assisted therapeutic services offered there. They also rolled up their sleeves to help maintain the grounds by cleaning, weeding, and shoveling.

Our Grades 5–8 campers volunteered at Loveland’s Community Kitchen, assisting with meal preparation and packing food bags for the evening dinner service.

We are so proud of our campers for working hard, helping others, and discovering how even simple acts of service can make a real difference in the community.

This past Wednesday, our campers visited the Hyland Hills Senior Center, where they brought smiles, laughter, and joy to the residents.

The visit gave our campers a meaningful opportunity to learn the importance of showing respect, kindness, and honor to our seniors. It was a beautiful experience filled with connection, warmth, and memories shared across generations.

🌟 Week 6 is off to an amazing start at Camp Kind! 🌟

Our campers jumped right into a Monday filled with kindness, teamwork, fun, and plenty of smiles!

🥪 Grades 5–8 volunteered at Joyful Journeys, where they sorted and organized food and other donations to help local families in need.

👕 Grades 2–4 visited A Precious Child and worked together sorting clothing and donations for children throughout our community.

Back at camp, our campers also made peanut butter sandwiches for people experiencing homelessness, enjoyed games and activities with friends, and cooled off with some refreshing water fun on our giant inflatable water attraction! 💦☀️

From lending a helping hand to making a splash, it was the perfect first day of Week 6—because at Camp Kind, we believe summer should be filled with fun that makes a difference! 💙
