⚜️ Troop 337 Giving Back to Our Home Unit! 💚

Troop 337 Scouts and families rolled up their sleeves for another Community Service Project, this time helping clean up and support Broomfield United Methodist Church!

Service is an important part of Scouting, and we’re always grateful for opportunities to lend a hand to the organizations and spaces that support our community. Whether it’s cleaning, organizing, or simply tackling the jobs that need a few extra hands, our Scouts showed that a little teamwork can make a big difference! 💪 🧹 🍂

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, worked hard, and helped leave things a little better than we found them!

⚜️ Late Post! ⚜️

Troop 337 hosted a fabulous Court of Honor earlier this month. A new Patrol Leadership Council (PLC) was sworn in, several scouts were recognized for their hard work on Rank Advancements, Summer Camp Merit Badges were awarded and we had a special visit from our Broomfield Mayor, Guyleen Castriotta, who presented the troop with a 70th Anniversary Proclamation!

Plus some incredible Community Service Updates:
1. We have had 12 service projects so far this year that have included two events for Broomfield FISH, Broomfield United Methodist Church and community clean-ups, an Eagle Scout project, a breakfast for the unhoused, and two conservation projects.

2. A total of 51 scouts, parents, or friends of the troop have volunteered so far this year.

3. Collectively, we have produced 329 hours of service for our community through these 12 events.

4. Finally, at the last Court of Honor, the troop donated 136.5 pounds of cooking oil for Broomfield Fish.

🚲 Troop 337 is proud to once again volunteer at Broomfield Days!

Each year, our Scouts and adult volunteers manage the event’s Bike Corral, providing a safe and convenient place for attendees to park their bicycles—completely free of charge—while they enjoy the festivities.

Although there is no fee to use the Bike Corral, donations are always welcome. Every dollar generously donated benefits Broomfield FISH to support individuals and families in need throughout our community.

Tuesday night’s Court of Honor was an extra-special one for Troop 337!

We were honored to welcome Broomfield Mayor Guyleen Castriotta, who joined us to present an official proclamation recognizing Troop 337’s 70th Anniversary!

What an incredible milestone—70 years of Scouting, service, leadership, adventure, and memories in our community. We are so grateful to Mayor Castriotta and the City of Broomfield for helping us celebrate this very special chapter in Troop 337’s history!

Here’s to honoring the legacy of the past 70 years and continuing the adventure for generations of Scouts to come! ⚜️
