Our building may look a little bit different tomorrow! Our church work day started off with a bang and we took a major step forward in our lobby expansion as we knocked down a wall and started a new paint projected in KidZone. (No children were harmed in the making of this video…they got to take the first swings and then we brought in the adults to actually demo).

We all know what it's like to suffer. We've all suffered. Sometimes we suffer because of something stupid we've done or said. But, continuing through the book of 1st Peter, Pastor Matthew talks about suffering for doing right, Suffering for doing good. And suffering for being affiliated with Jesus.

Lori Johnson, who is just about the sweetest woman you've ever meet, has gone home to be with her Lord -the Good Shepherd has called her home, to be with him, forever. Her service will be at Good News Church on Saturday, October 3rd at 4pm.

The Lord Is my shepherd... You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. -Psalm 23:1, 4-6

Use It Or Lose It
Of course you know the saying, "Use It Or Lose it." But, did you know that Jesus says it to you and me in regards to the gifts, talents, and abilities he's given us? Pastor Matthew challenges us to use what God has entrusted to you before it's too late.

God gave Bob Forrey far more days then most of us will get here on Earth -Bob went home to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 95. We will be remembering him and celebrating his life on Thursday, September 24th at 10am at the Rundus Funeral Home in Broomfield.

"All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand." -Psalm 139:16-18
