Today we welcomed my office Keller Williams Realty Devon-Wayne (KWDW) to Kids Against Hunger United for RED Day ❤️

Together, this amazing group of volunteers packed OVER 17,000 meals that will help feed families facing hunger both right here in our community and beyond.

What made today even more meaningful was knowing these were not just volunteers they were colleagues and friends. Watching our office come together with such energy, compassion, teamwork, and heart was amazing and I was so happy to welcome them into my happy place. 🧡💙

RED Day is about renewing, energizing, and donating within the communities we serve, and today KWDW lived that mission fully.

Thank you to every single person who showed up, packed meals, donated their time, shared laughs, lifted heavy boxes, and helped make a difference one meal at a time. Your impact will reach far beyond our warehouse walls.

Today we want to send a HUGE thank you to all of the incredible mail carriers, postal workers, volunteers, and community members who participated in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! 📬🧡💙

Every year on the second Saturday in May, letter carriers across the country collect non-perishable food donations right from mailboxes during what has become the nation’s largest one-day food drive. Since it began in 1993, the Stamp Out Hunger campaign has collected more than 1.9 BILLION pounds of food to help families facing food insecurity. The food collected stays local, helping stock food pantries and feed neighbors in our own communities.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, almost 1,000 pounds of food was collected today to help families right here in our area! 🧡

To our local mail carriers, thank you for going above and beyond your already long days to help fight hunger. (Sorry I did t get pictures of all of you)

To every family who left bags of food by your mailbox, thank you for caring about your neighbors.

Your kindness and generosity will help provide meals, hope, and relief to families throughout our community. Together, we are proving that small acts of kindness truly add up to make a BIG difference.

We also want to give a very special shoutout to our amazing mail carrier, Tony, who helped make sure Kids Against Hunger United was able to receive donations through this year’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Thank you for going above and beyond to support families in our community. Your kindness and dedication mean so much to us! 💙🧡

We were excited to leave Tastykake treats from Pop Pop’s Stash for our hardworking mail carriers today in memory of my dad, who worked for the Post Office for many years before later joining my mom in real estate. I love finding ways to bring my dad into everything we do at Kids Against Hunger United, and today felt especially meaningful being able to honor both his memory and the incredible postal workers who continue serving our community every day. 🧡

THANK YOU to every single person who donated, shared our posts, encouraged others to give, and supported Kids Against Hunger United during Delco Gives Day.

Because of this community, families in Delaware County and beyond will continue to receive food, pantry essentials, and hope during difficult times. Every donation no matter the size truly makes a difference.

Tonight may have looked a little different after our date change, but together we still packed over 2,250 meals for families in need. 💙🧡

Earlier this week I headed to Rutgers University Newark NJ Campus to pack over 10,000 meals for our community food banks 🧡💙

I’ve lost track of how many years I’ve been part of this event, it’s always such an incredible group of students who come together to organize and make it happen.

I won’t lie… I’m exhausted!!! It’s been a long month full of travel, planning, long days, and a lot of moving parts juggling real estate and the nonprofit and it’s all worth it.

None of these offsite events would run smoothly without the behind-the-scenes heroes.

A HUGE thank you to Debbie for always stepping in to wash and put away dishes, recruiting volunteers to help (Cindy, Sheila, Chris) organize supplies, and making sure everything is packed and ready to go. She truly keeps everything running smoothly.

Offsite events are a lot of work, and Debbie makes sure we’re always ready.

So grateful for our amazing team of volunteers and grateful that I get to work on both my passion…helping families find a home and helping families put food on the table. 💕

I can’t believe I took no pictures at this event! We quickly grabbed one at the end but most people had already left. Nevertheless it was an amazing group of students!!

This weekend took us to Long Island, New York and what a trip it was 🧡

A huge thank you to Lisa Faso for making the long journey with me and for being an amazing copilot! That is no simple task when you have to avoid the parkway since our truck was took big for the tunnels.

Somewhere along the way (while sitting in traffic), we found ourselves looking between buildings trying to catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty in the distance. We both were so excited to spot her!

We were welcomed by the incredible community at Saint James Lutheran Church, where they packed over 20,000 meals.

All of these meals traveled back home with us and will soon be delivered to Orphan Grain Train, where they’ll begin their journey to Africa, reaching families who need them most. The younger kids did an amazing job decorating the boxes and putting pictures inside each one 💕

From Broomall to Long Island to across the world… this is what it’s all about 🌍💙

April has been a whirlwind in the best way 🧡💙

Between events in our warehouse and on the road, we’ve traveled to New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia packing meals, meeting incredible people, and continuing to fight hunger together.

We’ve also hosted multiple events right here at the warehouse, and we’re so grateful for every group that shows up to make a difference.

We’ll be posting an updated calendar this week with new opportunities to get involved; stay tuned!
