Parents:
Be aware your child, especially if you have a daughter attending Brookwood Middle School...... Is probably secretly cutting themselves. Keep your eyes open and watch for that. Michael has told me several girls he goes to school with cut themselves. Don't let it get this bad for your child. I didn't keep my head up and now my son is scared physically and mentally for rest of his life.

We have trying our best to keep Michael in school and out of trouble.
He finished his stint in Alternative School on September 22nd. While at the meeting for him to go back to school he was given directions on what to do if he was being bullied when he returned to Brookwood Middle School. It is now 7 different occasions that he has had issues at the school reported it and he had been written up and sent to In School Suspension. This is the way it started last year. He would report a problem he would be the one to get in trouble. Thursday him having to go to ISS was the straw that broke the camels back. I'm TAKING HIM OUT OF BROOKWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL. I am homeschooling him starting Oct 8. Then I will do whatever I can to help stop the next kid going through this.

Quick update. For those how are actually involved with this day to day, you know first hand what kind of struggle all of this has been for us and especially for Michael. Because Michael is not allow in the general population of the school, the staff at the school as lost my son 2 days in a row. He was not allowed to ride the bus home at all and yesterday, he was actually put on the bus by a member of the school staff. Then when his ride went in to find out what happened and where he was, she was told on a bus. The guy didn't even know what bus he was put on. Really? And these are the people that are educating our children, expect the to follow rules, and them considered responsible adults.

Hello Everyone,
This page has been set up to help those of you who feel like you have no where to turn when you are being mistreated by your peers or even your friends. Being made fun of, someone hurting your feelings, or just being different is never a reason to be bullied. You do not and should not put up with things like that.
Over the next few days, as we all get ready to send our children back to school, adults, think about the things you know you or your children have experienced in the past..... post it on here and let those struggling know they are not alone. I know from having 3 children going through this right now, I have searched and asked for help and have not been able to find it or get it. That is what this page is for. To find solutions and to offer help for those who are living life like this everyday. Good luck and we will be uploading several things over the next few days!
