VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
It’s that time again, planning for our next CanoeFest!! So we are reaching out, looking for volunteers to assist with all the things. We need your support to keep this going. There will be a planning meeting September 9th at 6pm at the Franklin County Welcome Center, on Main Street next to the Franklin County Foundation.

If you can’t make it and would like to be a part of this community event, please feel free to send us a message with your name and number and we will reach out.

The 2026 Brookville Canoefest is on Saturday June 27, 2026. It includes the following events: Biathlon Canoe & Run (Solo), Biathlon Canoe & Run (Team of 2), Championship Race (Solo), Championship Race (Team of 2), Recreational Canoe Race (Solo), and Recreational Canoe Race (Team of 2).

The event serves as the opening celebration for a series of activities planned throughout the week to honor the nation's semiquincentennial.

SHIRTS!! We will have extra shirts available for purchase tomorrow. This years shirts will be $10 and our older previous years will be $5 if anyone is interested.

To address concerns about the rain, we are monitoring the weather and the river. As of now the races are still set to proceed. We will continue to monitor and we will keep you all updated as we go. Please be patient with us and Mother Nature.

The weekend is almost here, and we're excited to welcome racing enthusiasts, too. Our fans are just as important, so secure a spot on the spillway or river banks. Then join the festivities at Morgan's Canoe and Outdoor Adventures for awards and lunch. JCT Deli Wagon, LLC & Taqueria Guerrero MG will be happy to serve you. JCT Deli Wagon will also have coffee and donuts in the morning.

Get ready for the big day! Here's what you need to know:
- Arrive early, registration opens at 8am. This will help us plan for traffic as we bus you to the starting line.
- Stick around for awards at Morgan's Canoe and Outdoor Adventures following the races.
- Don't get hangry! We've got food trucks coming to the rescue! JCT Deli Wagon, LLC and Taqueria Guerrero MG will be serving up delicious eats starting at 10:30. Morgan's Canoe and Outdoor Adventures
