The residents at Newhaven Court were so welcoming yesterday. We love talking to everyone before our performance. Doris told us that she used to love clogging with her boyfriend back in the good old days. Another resident asked Barb how old was our oldest dancer because she was 96 and too old to dance. She told her about Julia at the Fontana Clogging Jamboree who was still clogging in her last 90's. When we were performing Cry of the Celtics we saw a woman smiling all through the routine. Afterwards she held out her hand and asked Barb if she ever visited Ireland. She told us about her trip and going to the Pubs and doing a Jig with the band. We just didn't dance for the residents yesterday we brought back some good memories too! So many smiles yesterday! We are really looking forward to returning to Newhaven Court during the holidays.

The Wild Laurel Cloggers are Easing on Down the Road again Saturday afternoon to Newhaven Court at Clearview in Butler, PA to perform our Clogging....America's Dance.

Today was the final day of our beginner clogging workshop at the Fisher Fiddle Camp. The Wild Laurel Cloggers would like to convey our sincere appreciation to all who participated in our classes. We were very impressed with the remarkable progress everyone displayed learning the basic beginner clogging steps.

The Wild Laurel Cloggers spending the evening Dancing in the Barn at the Fisher Fiddle Camp. Wendy Anderson McKinley and Barbara Weller will be back in the Barn again tomorrow Friday, July 17th at noon teaching another beginner clogging workshop.

If you missed our clogging workshop at the Fisher Fiddle Camp today we will be back again at noon on Friday. We will be teaching how to do a rocking chair and a cowboy and a little Highway 40 Blues.
