SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - We urge any and all that usually let dogs outdoors unleashed to not do that tonight as well as the cluster of upcoming days that are brutally cold. I had to remind myself to do the same. Leash your dogs before taking them outdoors! Prevent pets from disappearing. The temperatures can claim lives very quickly. Leash before opening the door. We hope the runaways find their way home soon.

Good afternoon, all -
We are all aware of the impending dangerous weather alerts. It is dangerously cold. First and foremost, be safe and stay alert during this time. We wish for less than what is forecasted for the sake of the animals - and of course for all of you, our friends.
Bring dogs and cats indoors. For "that stray cat" that hangs around your place - bring it in to the safety of your bathroom, garage or shed for the next few days. It costs nothing to do this. **Remember to provide bedding, food and water and....
check on them.**
Prepare livestock correctly with proper shelter, bedding, feed and water. "Proper shelter" means an enclosure with at least 3 sides where animals can get out of the wind and the elements. Give them this option. Pay attention to frozen water. If you have rabbits, goats, chickens - keep them safely sheltered and checked on.
If you witness or know of tied out dogs, contact (570) 357 4070. Pass this number around. We will go to address and resolve the situation. Be prepared to give your name and an exact address. We cannot go without an exact location. Your name is NEVER given out and remains confidential. We operate within the letter of the law. We do not answer "private number" calls. Be sure to unblock your number before calling.
The safety and well-being of the animals is the responsibility of all of us. Be aware of the animals within your scope.
Thank you for reading, thank you for sharing - and thank you for caring about the animals.
