The Village Foster Care Closet

The Village Foster Care Closet TVFCC is a safe place for foster families to come to get any and all essentials for children! We ask that volunteers are 14+, no littles please!

Here at The Village, we are available to help families taking in a child placed in the system. We provide free, new and like-new clothing, shoes, school supplies, bedroom essentials, toys, and essential hygiene products. The Village helps to ease the financial burden that a family can incur when taking in a child, to better focus attention and energy on the child during their transition. If you wo

uld like to volunteer at The Village please contact us to set up a time that works. We are not currently accepting clothing donations. If you would like to donate to The Village, we accept cash donations or you can host a collection drive for items like hygiene products, new socks and underwear, or baby essentials! Please contact us if you would like to host a drive. If you are a foster family and would like to come to The Village to shop, please reach out to set a time that works well for you! We will need to make sure someone is available to open The Village for you, so contacting before arrival is necessary!

Have an 11 year old boy needing a bicycle if anyone is willing to donate one new or used(in good condition) We just need the one, please reach out if you have one we can get for this child 💛

We are not accepting donations currently. Thank you for understanding! Please do not bring any donations to the foster closet, they will not be accepted. Anything left outside of the foster closet will be considered littering and will be reported to the authorities.
Thank you for all the help, we currently have more clothing than we can handle and need time to sort through it all! 🥰

Things are going to be a little different this year! We will have different donations we are accepting each month. Only new items with tags, unless specified otherwise. Each month, we will make a post more in detail about the donations! We will also be having general donation days that you can bring gently used items to TVFCC - these days will be noted on the detailed donation post!
