🎄❤️ The Matthew Project – Christmas 2025

Because of the kindness and generosity of this incredible community, we were able to collect and distribute Christmas presents to over 500 children in Hernando County this season.
We are deeply humbled and grateful to be part of something so meaningful. This project is a true reminder of what happens when a community comes together with love, compassion, and a shared purpose. To make sure children feel seen, valued, and celebrated at Christmas.

🎄Urgent Call to Action: Help Bring Christmas Joy to Local Kids in Need! 🎁

This holiday season, The Mathew Project is working hard to ensure that homeless and needy school children in Hernando County wake up to a Christmas filled with hope and happiness. But we need your help to make it happen!

We’re looking for at least 4 BUSINESSES to step up and shop for gifts for groups of:

🎅 20 kids
🎅 15 kids
🎅 12 kids
🎅 7 kids

These gifts are needed by this coming Monday, so time is of the essence! Your support will directly impact children who might otherwise go without.

What You Can Do:
1️⃣ Sponsor one of the groups by purchasing gifts.
2️⃣ Deliver the gifts to The Mathew Project by Monday.
3️⃣ Make a lasting difference in a child’s life this holiday season.

If you as an INDIVIDUAL want to help, we can accept cash donations to be used to purchase gifts next week as we make sure every child has a gift! Reach out for more details!

Our Story

Since 2010, The Matthew Project: Gifts for Homeless Children has been providing Christmas gifts for homeless/impoverished students of Hernando County schools along with their siblings who are provided backpacks of food to take home on weekends. Administrators of the backpack food programs send The Matthew Project the children’s' Christmas wishes. We distribute those children’s' wishes to our group of churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals who then sponsor these children. In 2017 our sponsors provided Christmas for 374 children in Hernando County Schools and over 1,880 children since 2010. In 2018 we currently have 475 children and can expect up to 500+ by the December 21st. Please donate to sponsor Christmas for these children. Thank you, God Bless, and Merry Christmas.
