For those needing relief from the heat - please share or post where those dealing with homelessness or homes without A/C may see.

People Helping People is extending its open hours today Thursday, 6/18, from 2p – 6p to provide an opportunity for those needing to get out of the extreme heat to come to our HELP Center at 1396 Kass Circle Spring Hill for relief.

No meals will be served at that time or food given away.

These extended open hours are strictly to allow those facing oppressive heat to find some relief in our air-conditioned building.

Hernando County 4-H is proud to announce the overall winners of their 2026 Photography Contest. In the junior age division, Blaze O. with Midnight Crow. In the intermediate division, Alexandria H. with Toes In, and in the senior division, Leah R. with Misty Waterfall. All three photos have been submitted to the Florida State 4-H Photography Contest. Congratulations to our 2026 graduates. It has been my pleasure to participate in your life as you grew and developed your life skills, your curiosity, and your personalities. Together, we learned by doing and made a difference in our worlds. You have made me a better agent, and I hope I have positively impacted your life.
