This past week, 10 Hernando 4-H youth attend 4-H University, Florida 4-H’s premier high school leadership conference.

Throughout the week they explored career tracks, competed in state events, developed their leadership skills, and made friends from all over the state.

We are incredibly proud of each of these youth for representing Hernando County so well, and we can’t wait to see them bring their new knowledge, experiences, and leadership back to their clubs and community!💚🍀

For those needing relief from the heat - please share or post where those dealing with homelessness or homes without A/C may see.

People Helping People is extending its open hours today Thursday, 6/18, from 2p – 6p to provide an opportunity for those needing to get out of the extreme heat to come to our HELP Center at 1396 Kass Circle Spring Hill for relief.

No meals will be served at that time or food given away.

These extended open hours are strictly to allow those facing oppressive heat to find some relief in our air-conditioned building.
