What an incredible few days at the KY FBLA State Leadership Conference in Louisville.

A HUGE congratulations goes out to Cayden Williams for an exceptional accomplishment—placing 2nd in Cybersecurity and qualifying for the National Leadership Conference this summer in San Antonio, Texas! This marks an incredible milestone as it is his THIRD time qualifying for nationals, a true testament to his dedication, consistency, and hard work.

So proud of all members for their dedication and accomplishments—next stop, Nationals!

WOW! What a day for Bracken County FBLA! Eighteen members traveled to Morehead State University to compete at the Region 5 Conference. Six of those members qualified to compete at the State Conference in April! Congratulations to the following members:

Ella Burton: 🥉 3rd place Business Law
Cayden Williams: 🥈 2nd place Cyber Security
Layne Mastin: 🥉 3rd place Human Resource Management
Kyler Baxter: 🥈 2nd place Impromptu Speaking
Olivia Day: 🥉 3rd place Intro to Business Communications
Ellie Gallagher: 🥈 2nd place Intro to Information Technology & 🥉 3rd place Local Chapter Scrapbook (Traditional)

Bracken County will also be represented on the 2026-2027 Region 5 Council. Congratulations to Ellie Gallagher for becoming the Region 5 Historian and Colby Moore for becoming the Region 5 Parliamentarian!

All of our competitors worked hard and represented our county well! We are so proud!!

Members traveled to Morehead State University for the FBLA Region 5 Fall Conference. All of our students had a great time and really enjoyed the experience. It was a fun and educational trip that gave everyone the chance to learn new things, meet other students, and get more involved in FBLA.

Twelve members attended the FBLA State Conference in Louisville, KY this week. They competed in events, attended workshops, and most importantly had a great time! We are also extremely excited to announce we have a NATIONAL QUALIFIER!!!! 🏆 Congratulations to Cayden Williams for placing fourth in Computer Problem Solving which earned him a chance to compete at the national conference in Anaheim, CA this summer! Way to go Cayden we are so proud!!!

Bracken County FBLA had 21 members compete in the Region 5 Conference yesterday. Four members qualified for the State Conference in April.

Congratulations to the following members:

Anna Bond- Alternate in the Eugene H. Smith Scholarship and 2nd place Scrapbook (hard copy)

Cayden Williams- 1st place Computer Problem Solving

Tori Yelton- 2nd place Human Resource Management

Layne Mastin- 2nd place Intro. to Business Concepts

Gracey Lonaker completed her service as 24-25 Region 5 Vice President and Chloe Jarrell completed her service as 24-25 Region 5 Historian.

Congratulations to Sanae Takata on being named the 25-26 Region 5 Historian!

We had several members who also received 4th and 5th place in events and could potentially qualify to the State Conference.

They represented Bracken County well and I couldn’t be more proud!
