This month’s Aware Basic Self-Defense course will be taught by one of my favorite instructors, Cadey Widacki. Come join Cadey for real-life situations and how-to-respond training. She will train you how to escape many holds, how to kick properly, how to block well and why, and so much more.

An informational meeting about the Uganda Team heading out in March 2024 will be held on September 10th from 10:30 am -12:30 pm in the Kingsland Missions Conference room upstairs in the main building.

When you enter the main doors from parking lot 1, walk up the first set of stairs, take a left at the top, and enter the hallway to where the meeting will be held. Our room will be on the right side of the hallway. We will have a sign on the door.

Childcare will be offered during this time till 12:00 pm.

Our team will work with 350 kids who attend the school/orphanage in Kawempe Slums in Uganda, hosted by Pastor Robert Nabulere. More information with details will be shared at the meeting. Our team will consist of 15 people max to help with transportation running smoothly in town. Team members will be based on first come with deposit till we hit our max.

These stats are hard to hear. They leave us feeling overwhelmed with how can I help. One of the best ways to stand in the gap for her is by partnering with an organization like Her Well.

How often do we spend $30 a month on items that don’t last, only satisfy temporarily?

At our house we have been know to drive thru McDs for a large drink at least 15 times a month. A drive thru Starbucks can add up to $30 a month with a minimum 6x. A meal for a family of 4 at any fast food/dine inn can cost well over $30 a month.

$30 a month is easy to spend on items that provide nuritionment or even comfort. But what about for her? Is $30 a month easy to give for Her?

Great news!!!! H2C / Her Well has been approved by BP to match any gift their employees contribute to our 501c3. If your an employeee at BP your gift of $30 a month just doubled. Help us raise $10,000 a month to operate and help 10 survivors.
