Powerland Heritage Park Presents
2020 will be the Quilt shows 7th year of showing quilts during the “Great Oregon Steam-Up). We will be displaying quilts of various sizes, seasons, and styles. Vintage and Antique quilts as well. We will have vendors, demonstrations of various crafts, vintage sewing machines for sale or on display, Salem Quilts of Valor will be there, also presenting a veteran with a quilt just prior to the daily parade. Daily door prize basket drawings, (filled with lots of great sewing items), A Special Quilt Show quilt for raffle, “People’s Choice of their favorite Quilt, daily drawing”. Last year we had approx. 70 + quilts on display, just in the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum, and another 10-12 quilts on display in the Northwest Vintage Car/Motorcycle Museum. We are hoping to have closer to 100+ this year. We will hold the event again in both of these museums as well as various on going demonstrations of crafts 10am-3pm. each day of show. These are only 2 of the 14 museums on the grounds with quilts on display or quilts for raffle.
