The Best Way to Learn? Teach.

During a gathering with supporters,
the Rebbe encouraged those assenbled to begin teaching:
if you know something, share something.

Inspired by this message,
Mr. Samuel Rohr began giving a class on the weekly Torah portion.

Teaching it pushed him to truly understand the material, learn it well, and opened up a whole new level of insight and appreciation.

Later, he came to thank the Rebbe:
“In my entire life, I’ve never studied as much as I do today.”

Sometimes, the best way to learn is by sharing with others.

The Rebbe’s Answer to Anxiety

Success isn’t always what it looks like from the outside.

Michoel Muchnik,
one of the foremost Chassidic artists,
was in the middle of a touring art exhibition.

Shows were booked, invitations were out, people were coming.

And he was running out of artwork.

He was exhausted, overwhelmed, and didn’t know how to keep up.

So he turned to the Rebbe:
how do I deal with this?

The Rebbe’s answer: meditate on Hashgacha Pratis. Divine providence.

The idea that every detail of your life is being guided from above.
And when you truly internalize that, everything shifts.

“True tranquility of soul. True tranquility of body. True peace.”

The Secret Behind Jewish Continuity

When God was about to give the Torah to the Jewish people,
He asked for a guarantor —
someone who could ensure that the Torah would be cherished, preserved, and lived by.

One by one,
different guarantees were offered and rejected.

Then came the final answer:
the children.

And God agreed.

It was through them that the Torah was given.

This wasn’t only true then.

Today as well,
the future of the Jewish people depends on the connection children have to Torah —
their enthusiasm, their sincerity, and the way they inspire not only their friends, but their parents too.

How can we strengthen children’s connection to Torah today?

As we approach the holiday of Shavuot —
when God gave the Jewish people the Torah —
here’s a lively moment of the singing of “Ata Vechartanu.”

A song of gratitude to God,
for choosing us, lifting us up,
and giving us a unique way to connect to Him:
through Torah and mitzvot.

A New World

For thousands of years,
the world has been building toward something:
the Messianic Age.

We usually think of it as a future era:
a time of peace,
without war, suffering, or division,
when we can live with clarity and purpose.

In this clip,
the Rebbe addresses a simple question:
where are we holding in this process?

May we see its full realization, today.

How to Raise Calm and Happy Children

Children absorb not only what they are taught,
but how they are taught.

Rather than trying to enforce through fear,
children need to be guided with love,
open love.

When guidance comes from a warm and joyful place,
it gives children the foundation for a life of Judaism embraced with joy,
happiness,
and calm.

Why Does Life Have to Be So Hard?

God could have made a world where everything comes easy.

No hard work.
No struggle.
No obstacles or hardships.

So why didn’t He?

Because if everything were simply handed to us, life would just be about receiving — not creating.

There’s something different about the things we work for.
When you put effort into something, you become part of making it happen.

And when a person pushes past their own limits, they discover strengths and possibilities they never would have reached if everything came easy.

Challenges are not just obstacles standing in our way.
They’re opportunities to put something of ourselves into the world.

Food of Faith

Watching what you eat isn’t just about physical health,
it shapes something much deeper.

The food we consume doesn’t only fuel the body;
it can influence how we think, feel, and connect to something higher.

In Jewish thought, eating is just a mundane act. It can have an outsized impact on our body, and our soul.

When we’re mindful about what goes into us,
we begin to notice what the results are...

To Lead By Example

Struggling with his children’s lack of observance,
a father turned to the Rebbe for guidance.

The answer was simple—and deeply powerful:
the most direct way to educate is to live it yourself.

More powerful than the most impassioned sermon
is the example you set in your own life.

What children see, they absorb.
