What kind of aroma are you leaving behind?
Some smells push people away. Others draw people in. In the same way, our lives leave an impression on everyone we encounter.
The Apostle Paul writes, “For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.” — 2 Corinthians 2:15
As followers of Jesus, we are called to carry His presence wherever we go—into our homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and city. When we walk in love, extend grace, serve others, seek justice, and speak truth with compassion, the fragrance of Christ spreads through us.
This week, consider:
• What aroma am I bringing into the places God has sent me?
• Do people experience more hope, peace, and love because I am there?
• How can I bring the shalom of Jesus to someone today?
Jesus is the ultimate source of shalom. Through Him, God is making all things new. May our lives be a pleasing aroma that points others to Him.
